Project Description
Saudi Aramco was approved for the development and construction of a sports complex that composed of a 60,000-seat soccer stadium, a Multi-Purpose Sports Hall (MPSH) with a 2,000-seating capacity, an athletics stadium with related competition areas, outdoor soccer fields and tennis courts, and a mosque. The scope also provides for site development and onsite utility systems, roads, parking, fencing, and landscaping. This complex is being constructed in Jeddah on a 3,000,000 SM plot of land allocated and provided by the Government.
CHALLENGE:
To pour 103,000m3 of in situ concrete work by end of Apr 2013 (5 months).
Fast tracking long lead material deliveries. (Roof Steel, Mechanical/Electrical/ELV equipment)
First time experience to employ quality Fit-Out Subcontractor
Coordination of multiple work fronts & interface management in a congested site setting.
Marinating Confidence to Aramco management & Ministry visitors
