Project Description
Office Cherifien des Phosphates (OCP) is constructing a grass root beneficiation plant in Benguerir, Morocco. Honeywell will supply for OCP, the Distributed Control System solution for plant operation within a virtualized infrastructure as well as PMS, Cyber security, Wireless network, CCTV integration, Alarm Management System, Plant wide optimizer, Operator training system, Process Historian and Conditioning monitoring for critical machinery.
Challenges: First digitalization Project in OCP Morocco. The local team was unfamiliar with this new technology and needed full training.
Several Third (3rd) Party systems that needed to be seamlessly communicating to the Experion DCS networks.
Required to design new specifications for the client.
